Legal Consultations

Legal Consultations: By Phone, Video, In Office, In Writing, and Full Case Review

We offer five consultation services at set prices: a telephone legal consultation at SAR 150, by video call at SAR 250, in our office at SAR 350, a written legal opinion at SAR 450, and a full case review with a written legal opinion from SAR 900. They are delivered by the two licensed partners according to specialism, and every consultation ends with a clear next step.

Before you sign, reply to a notice, file a claim, or instruct a lawyer, you need an opinion — not an impression.

Prices

Consultation Types and Prices

The prices below are our service prices as approved by firm management (September 2026). They are paid to the firm, and no government fee arises on the consultation itself. The length of each consultation and the delivery date for a written opinion are agreed with you at booking.

Telephone Legal Consultation

SAR 150

Session length: 45 minutes.

A telephone call at a set time. Suited to a specific question or initial guidance: do I have a right? Which body is competent? What is the first step? You get a direct spoken answer, the route, and the documents you will need. Documents are not required; you may send what you have before the appointment.

Video Call Consultation

SAR 250

Session length: 45 minutes.

A video call over an agreed app. Suited to clients outside Jeddah, or when you need to show and discuss documents on screen. You get a detailed discussion with the documents reviewed and the options set out. Sending documents beforehand is preferred.

In-Office Consultation

SAR 350

Session length: 45 minutes.

An in-person meeting at our office in Al Muhammadiyah, Jeddah, with the partner who handles your subject. Suited to complex matters and to reviewing original documents. You get an in-depth discussion, examination of the originals, and the route set out. Bring the relevant original documents.

Written Legal Opinion

SAR 450

A signed written opinion sent to you. Suited to when you need a document to refer back to, or to show a partner or accountant. You get a signed memorandum: the facts, the applicable law, the analysis, the options, and the recommendation. The opinion is not issued without the documents.

Full Case Review and Legal Opinion

From SAR 900

A full review of the file followed by a written legal opinion. Suited to before filing or answering a claim, or instructing a lawyer. You get a written legal opinion on the whole case: its strengths and weaknesses and the routes available. We need the complete file (the statement of claim, judgments, contracts, correspondence).

The Written Opinion

What a Written Legal Opinion Contains

A written opinion signed by a licensed lawyer, setting out the facts as we understood them, the applicable provisions, the analysis, the options and the risk of each, and a clear recommendation. It differs from a spoken answer in that it obliges the lawyer to identify the provision and the assumptions on which the opinion rests, and you can refer back to it and show it to a partner or an accountant. That is why we ask for the documents in full before issuing it, and why we state in it what we did not verify.

PartWhat it contains
The factsWhat we understood from your documents and account, and what we did not verify
The legal frameworkThe applicable laws and regulations by their official names, with their locations cited after verification
The analysisHow the law applies to your facts, and the strengths and weaknesses
The optionsThe routes available, the risk of each, and how long each takes
The recommendationWhat we advise and the next step specifically

When Do You Need It?

When a Written Opinion or a Full Case Review Pays Off

Five situations where a written opinion saves a great deal later.

Before signing a long commercial lease or a supply contract with penalty clauses.

On receiving a notice or a demand from a party or a government body.

Before entering a partnership, or leaving one.

When you and a partner or client read a clause differently.

Before filing or answering a claim, or instructing a lawyer in a live case.

And if your matter needs instructing a lawyer rather than a consultation, we will say so plainly.

FAQ

Common Questions About Consultations and Prices

A telephone legal consultation is SAR 150, at a set time agreed at booking. It suits a specific question and initial guidance; if your matter needs a lot of documents read, we point you to the written opinion or the full case review.

A video call consultation is SAR 250, an in-office consultation at our Jeddah office is SAR 350, and a written legal opinion is SAR 450. These are our service prices as approved by management, and no government fee arises on the consultation.

A full case review with a written legal opinion starts from SAR 900, and the final price is set by the size of the file — we tell you in writing before we begin. Instructing us on the case itself is priced after the file has been reviewed and the scope of work defined.

Yes. Confidentiality over what the lawyer sees is a professional obligation under the Law of Practising Law, and no document or information is shared with a third party without your express permission or a legal requirement. That applies to the written opinion as it does to a spoken one, and to what you send us even if you do not go on to instruct us.

A legal opinion is an advisory document expressing the lawyer’s view on the facts put to him; it does not bind bodies or courts. Its value is that it grounds your decision in the law and surfaces the risks early.

Yes — in Arabic, in English, or in both, bearing in mind that the Arabic text is usually the one relied on before Saudi bodies, and we set the prevailing-language clause accordingly. Drafting is priced by contract type after we see what is required.
